ZCream Cheese with Red & Green Pepper Sauce

Use any of the following to create a festive platter of appetizers: Rootham Red Pepper Dipping Sauce, Rootham Sundried Tomato Jelly, Rootham Onion Roasted Garlic Jelly, or Rootham Strawberry Jalapeno Salsa.

Instructions:

  1. Divide cream cheese in half and place on serving platter. Warm some Rootham Tangy Red Pepper Jelly and/or Rootham Jalapeno Pepper Jelly in the microwave.
  2. Spread warm jelly over cream cheese.
  3. Serve with crackers, etc.
  • For Festive Platter: Use Rootham Tangy Red Pepper Jelly over one half of cream cheese and Rootham Jalapeno Pepper Jelly over the other half of cream cheese to create a festive, colourful appetizer.
  • Variation: In a bowl, place half of cream cheese with Rootham Tangy Red Pepper Jelly or the Rootham Jalapeno Pepper Jelly & microwave to warm. Mix together & shape into ball. Spread some additional warm pepper jelly on top and serve with crackers, etc.

Create a Pepper Dip by mixing the ingredients below in bowl:

  • 4oz (125g) cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup (125ml) any Rootham Jelly mentioned above.
  • 8oz (250ml)  sour cream
  • Mix until smooth.
