ZTeriyaki Beef Broccoli

I always find Teriyaki stir fry a weekly meal at our house as it is easy and quick to prepareand a favourite of my family. Remember to start you rice before you begin your stir fry so everything will be ready at the same time. - Marilyn Rootham



Preparing Meat 1. Bring 150ml of Rootham Teriyaki Ginger Marinade and Dipping Sauce to boil in medium frying pan. 2.Turn heat down to medium and ad sliced raw flank steak. 3.Once cooked remove steak from frying pan to stop meat from cooking. 4.Turn heat back up to high and stir left over liquid. Reduce liquid to half the amount. Large bubbles will appear in liquid and your spoon will leave paths in the liquid as sign that reduction of liquid is complete. 5. Take pan with Teriyaki reduction off heat. Preparing Vegetables 1. Heat oil in a large frying pan or wok over medium heat. 2.Add sliced green onions, sliced mushrooms,bite size broccoli pieces,sliced red pepper an toss for 2-3 minutes or until vegetables become tender and able to be penetrated easily by a fork. 3. Combine Teriyaki reduction, cooked flank steak and cooked vegetables. 4. Toss combination slightly to reheat. 5.Serve on a bed of rice or noodles.
